My path to becoming a UX Designer began during my undergraduate studies at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a minor in Art History.

Since graduating in 2014, I’ve had the opportunity to work professionally as a Web Producer and Content Manager at various companies including Time Out Magazine, Halstead Property, and most recently, at Sotheby’s Auction House. Working with internal & external stakeholders to ensure the product is the very best it can be, while keeping the user’s needs in mind and balancing my daily tasks were always my main priorities, and it became growingly clear that my passion lies within User Experience Design.

Through these experiences I’ve learned invaluable communication and management skills, and while they ranged in professional fields, ultimately my interest in digital media and art have stuck with me.

My interest in UX/UI Design focuses on incorporating analytical research with visual design, while creating visually appealing products for companies that integrate their goals with their user’s needs.

As a UX/UI Design student I learned that the process of getting to an end result that you and the client are happy with comes with trial and error, and the most important aspects of the design process are getting the most out of the journey to the end result, and to always being open to learn and experiment outside your comfort zone.

I’m currently practicing as a Freelance UX Designer and Web Content Manager.
